IFN Member in India Completes Extensive Project Shipment
Jayakumar Urath at 4G TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS, IFN member in India, recently informed us of a complex and extensive project shipment that he and his team completed at the end of last year.
"We are happy to inform you that in 2023 we managed to complete more shipments than in 2022. We expect to increase at least 15-20 percentage volume in this new year and look forward a great radiance of business.
The highlight of 2023 was an import project from Europe: a project shipment of machinery, which we handled from Portugal to Nhava Sheva. This consisted of 5 x 40 Flat track, 4 x 20 Flat track and 6 x 40HQ. We delivered the consignment up to a factory located at Raigad District in Maharashtra State.
Getting all the Flat track equipment from the Lines along with frequently changed rates was the biggest challenge we faced. We were in constant touch with multiple overseas partners to handle the same at origin point and one of our old partners succeeded in getting a timely freight booking and arranged pre-carriage in order to connect the booked vessel.
It was not possible without our dedicated staff’s follow-up, day and night, to get a fruitful result and deliver the entire consignment by end of December 2023. We thank all our staff and overseas partners for their dedicated service, along with our valuable customer who trusted us to complete the job.
