IFN Member in China Shares Latest Project Shipment
Danton International Logistics, IFN Member in China, recently shared one of their latest shipments with the network.
Anson Wang told IFN more:
"We would like to share with you a break bulk vessel shipment from China to India. As a traditional local forwarder, we have to shift our account structure and strategy according to the trendency of the world, as well as the policy of our government. Thus, we start to concentrate on the project cargo and the area listed in the scope of our “belt and road” policy.
Danton International Logistics' project team successfully handled a big shipment of 1736 CBM condensers and accessories for Linde Group from its Dalian plant to Haldia, India with break bulk vessel loading from Shanghai, China.
4 pieces of cold box are oversized and heavy-lift cargo, our project team dispatched a special hydraulic ten axle truck to pick up the cargo from Dalian plant and monitor the loading to make sure of safety during the long distance road transportation (1900 km from Dalian to Shanghai port).
With strict safety controls, all the pieces arrived at Zhanghuabang terminal on time before vessel berthing. Since one of the heaviest cold boxes reached 57 tons, the Danton team designed “Crane +Derrick” solution to uplift the cold boxes directly from the truck onto the deck. The whole procedure was monitored and inspected by our project team to make of safety and no scratches.
Finally, the total 7 pieces of cargo successfully arrived at Haldia port on 30 Dec, 2023 and were well received by Linde group's Indian office.
