You can view some more photos here.
There were strict requirements from the client, supplier's side and from the insurance company, which we had to meet. We managed to arrange everything as per these requirements, despite the Pandemic situation. The main requirements were as follows:
We had to arrange 3rd party surveyors at loading point, transshipment point, and at destination
All 15 x 40’HC COC supposed to be loaded and dispatched together on one vessel under one Bill of Lading
All 15 trailers from transshipment point in Istanbul, Turkey to Baku, Azerbaijan had to travel together in block, despite the Pandemic situation we managed to arrange this
The trailers were only allowed to stop only in designated and secured stop points – TIR Parks
All the trailers from Istanbul, Turkey to Baku, Azerbaijan had to travel with 2 escorts – one in front and one behind, which we managed to arrange vi Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan territory.
All the trailers had to have GPS systems, which were working in real time and we had to provide GPS operator’s company name to the insurance company. So all trailers were equipped with the GPS system as per the insurance company's requirements.
We are very happy to share this news; we had been working on this project for a long time and finally the job was awarded to us, and we successfully delivered the cargo to Baku, Azerbaijan before deadline and with the challenges of the ongoing Pandemic situation.
This again shows that our company is capable of handling complicated and challenging jobs."
