IFN Member in Australia Receives Trusted Trader Accreditation

Loch M Fraser Logistics, IFN Members in Australia, has recently achieved Australian Trusted Trader accreditation.

"It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce that Loch M Fraser Logistics has been successful in becoming an Australian Trusted Trader.

The process and application was started in early April 2019, and accreditation was received late December 2019.

Below outlines what the accreditation means for Loch M Fraser & the industry we are all a part of:

Loch M Fraser Logistics Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that we have been officially granted Trusted Trader status by Australian Border Force. Australian Trusted Trader accreditation is a mark of distinction that signals that we have been independently assessed and accredited against World Customs Organization standards.

The program is administered by the Australian Border Force, and accreditation is only given when an Australian business can demonstrate compliant trade practices and a secure international supply chain.

As an Australian Trusted Trader, there are direct benefits such as:

A dedicated Australian Border Force account manager.

Priority processing through the National Trade Advice Centre and the National Refunds Intervention.
This includes advance rulings in relation to tariffs, valuation and origin, advance ruling reviews, duty drawback claims, and refund and remission applications for customs import duty.

Priority treatment of goods at the border
As a Trusted Trader, Border Force considers businesses as low risk and priority treatment is given at the border. This means faster customs processing and fewer interventions.

A seat at the table and exclusive invitations
We receive a seat at the table to work in partnership with Border Force on initiatives related to our industry.

Use of logo
Trusted Traders have use of the Australian Trusted Trader logo. This logo is recognised internationally and gives others confidence in our business.
