IFN Members In India Complete Challenging Heavy Lift Project
Freyer International Logistics, IFN members in India, recently shared some news on a heavy lift project. Arun Sharma, Managing Director at Freyer, told us more:
"Freyer International India just moved a 26 tons Shipment by Air from Germany in a Single lot for one of our key customers in Bangalore.
Our scope was Door to Door including Packing. We had serious challenges finding space with carriers, as one piece was too heavy and due to the over height none of the carriers were willing to accept the cargo.
We worked on alternate options via different Airports and finally we found a solution on a 747 F Aircraft via Mumbai.
Our counterparts had to visit the shipper's site multiple times to evaluate and suggest options.
It took over 3 months of effective planning and finally executed the shipment seamlessly."
IFN Operations Manager, Debbie Constantine, said: "We are always keen to read about our members' successful projects and this one displays how committed and competent the Freyer International team are. Overcoming challenges and dedication to completing the task are hallmarks of a truly professional company. We are delighted to have Freyer in our high quality network."
