IFN Member in UK Ships Bronze Sculpture

IFN member Studio House Centre, UK, have recently shipped a large bronze scuplture.

Sector: 20ft container, sea freight
Commodity: Original Bronze Sculpture
Shipped from: Leicestershire, UK
Shipped to: Toronto, Canada
Timeframes: Delivery as an Anniversary Present to his wife.

Neil Commerford, Operations Director, told us more: "There was restricted access at delivery site. Delivery had to be made on a flat bed and so we unloaded the container at our agents secure warehouse in Toronto before transferring over to the flat bed. Due to the nature of the goods, we covered the dragon to protect against and debris in transit to the delivery point.

The consignees driveway was 1km long, and no room for our driver to turn around, so it was planned that they would have to expertly reverse all the way uphill. We had arranged for a fork-lift to be on site to meet the driver. The customer was very pleased with the service given, so much so they have ordered some more items from the shipper."

Debbie Constantine, IFN Group Operations Manager, said: " We are highly selective of the companies who join IFN, and expect a high standard from our members. It's great to see this example of the tailored and specialised service that our members can offer. It's no surprise that their clients are highly satisfied - and we are delighted to have them in the network."
